RMA’s Level III+ (models #1091-1094) multi-curve plates are specifically tested to meet the new standards set forth by the National Institute of Justice. And with RMA’s III+ plates, there’s no confusion to what a III+ should be. After all, the new standard for III+ plates is the ability to defeat the m855, xm193, 7.62×39 MSC and the .308 M80 NATO round, which this plate does with flying colors.

As for the 1092s, they’re amazing plates. Lightweight with an excellent multicurve profile. Very comfortable and hilariously light compared to my 8lb SAPI Level IV plates. Comparable offerings from Hesco cost roughly double so these are a no-brainer.
Only downside with these plates is that they are pretty thick. This is a known characteristic of these so no surprise there. They fit in my JPC 1.0 but not very well whereas my Slickster accepts them perfectly. Do your homework and find out if these will fit your carrier. If so you won’t be disappointed!
